Global Volatility Summit is an educational event for investors wanting to learn about volatility and options-based trading strategies and the role they play in investment portfolios. This year’s inaugural event in Tokyo was specifically crafted for Japan-based institutional investors and touched on subjects such as volatility expectations for next year, best hedges for institutional investors currently and the future of quantitative and systematic strategies.

Pierre de Saab, Partner and Head of Asset Management at Dominicé, shared his thoughts about the VIX market flows and current volatility premiums in the Overview of Derivative Markets in 2017 and Volatility Expectations for the 2018 panel.
